What is the color of your plate?

I know it sounds cliche, but the reality is that the color of your plate can say a lot about your healthy.

It's cliché to say that the dish must be colorful, yes I agree.


But cliché or not, the variety of colors on your plate is a necessity, the more different vegetables and legumes you have on your plate, the more likely you are to absorb various vitamins and nutrients. So I say and repeat, vary your vegetables, fruits and vegetables, I know we can not always eat the ideal amount on the day or the rainbow, even for distraction or for lack of habit. That's why it's important to follow some tips if you need to eat more nutrients and want to be healthier in your day choices.


 I always give tips so here are some for you to do this without much effort.


🍉 - In your meal try always to have at least three to four different colors on your plate.


🥬- When you go to the market, vary your choices, choose different vegetables and greens from the last time, trying new food helps your taste and will also vary your ingested nutrients.


🍑- Make combinations with vegetables and fruits in your salads, this is an easy way to eat different food. Remember many vitamins are absorbed easier when having the right mix of nutrients, so the variety is so important.


Don't be fooled into thinking that being healthier is expensive and impossible, go to a farmers market near your neighborhood, get to know and try new foods, unpack less and have more contact with whole foods. Fruits, vegetables and greens are always the best options.
