Intuitive eating? what it is and why you can loose weight by listening to your body.

Intuitive eating has been taking place in the nutrition world and it is the opposite of what we all have learned in decades of diets, counting calories, weighing foods, hitting the macros, and strict meals.

What is intuitive eating?
Intuitive eating is based on the idea of listening to you body, give attention to your relationship with food than it is the food itself. The idea of listening to your body has been helping a lot of people that feels guilty of what they're eating, because your focus changes to eating well and felling well rather than counting calories, weighting food or even crazy diets. We are all able to eat intuitively, we are made to eat when we are hungry and stop when we are satisfied, instead of full.

Steps to eat intuitively:
Focus on healthy foods and how you feel, not how much you weight.
The poor side of almost all diets is the focus on how much you weight and not in how you feel after you eat, the intuitive eating advocates to focus on eating, eat mindfulness. If you're eating, listening to your body, felling well and healthy, that means your body is getting healthier and inevitably, you will lose weight.
Do not fell guilty after eating.
The relationship that we have with food is what really matters, felling guilty after eat something that you like does not help your body and you mental healthy.
Cutting off certain foods permanently will probably leave you feeling deprived. Instead, opt for something sustainable: maybe eat 80-90 percent of the time the healthiest foods (greens, vegetables, legumes, less sugar, and refined foods) and leave the other 10-20 percent for “guilty pleasures” that you can enjoy without guilt. Creating a good relationship with food will make you understand that you can be healthy without blame yourself for everything that you eat.
Listening to you body.
The rule to intuitive eating is listening to you body, remember: nobody is the same, we're all different and exclusive people, what works for you might not work for somebody else, so, understanding your needs, how your body works and what works for it, is the best way to achieve your best.
